Dear Parents and Carers,

Poetry Slam

Huge congratulations to our Year 5 and 6 children who took part in this year’s Poetry Slam final on Wednesday evening. All 3 groups were incredible; they performed with confidence and rhythm. Emily-Lauren Jones, the poet who came to write our poems with us, emailed us and said, ‘a MASSIVE congratulations on your well-deserved win, it was a unanimous decision from the judges and it also makes you the first ever Coventry school to win the trophy!

Easter Competitions

We were delighted to see so many children take part in our Easter competition this year! Our Early Years and Key Stage 1 children wowed us with their incredible Easter bonnets, full of colour, creativity and imaginative designs. Meanwhile, Key Stage 2 pupils showcased their talents by decorating eggs in a variety of unique and inventive ways. It was wonderful to see such enthusiasm and effort across the school, and choosing winners was no easy task. A big well done to everyone who took part – your creations truly brightened our celebrations!

Girls Cross Country

This week, a group of key stage 2 girls took part in a cross-country race at Bablake playing fields. They have been practising for the last few weeks during our running club on Thursdays and performed fantastically showing great perseverance and determination. We are now looking forward to the boy’s event in a few weeks’ time.

New Website!

After the Easter break, we will be launching our brand-new school website! It will be the same web address, but a new and improved upgrade! This is a sneak peak of what it will look like.
